Furthermore, the differential area between the band apply area and the release side of the servo piston alters the 3-4 clutch accumulation rate making the 2-3 shift firmer. The TransGo 7-2P Corvette servo piston assembly fits 1982 to 2015 General Motors vehicles equipped with 700R4, 4L60/E, 4L65E and 4L70E automatic transmissions. 8642539 cushion spring was used with most servos including the Vette from factory.The 8681195 spring I’ve only only seen in C5 corvettes that I can remember.The servo piston return spring is 8642273 and I think most were orange,but in the Transgo instructions it tells You to reuse the original,so you should have it.You will also need the retaine.
